IX2 customers benefit from a cohesive, hands-on management team that has the ability, experience and authority to respond quickly to customer needs. IX2's management team has a breadth of experience ranging from telecommunications sales and operations, to real estate, network planning and provisioning.

Bill Peckovich, President

Mr. Peckovich has extensive experience working at the convergence point of the Telecom and Real Estate businesses. He spent 11 years with CB Commercial Estate Group where he represented “MFS” for the first CLEC point-of-presence in Los Angeles. This marked the beginning of competitive local telecommunications in California. Bill was instrumental in MFS’s fiber deployment in California aiding in the selection of technical facilities as well as negotiating building right-of-entry agreements. Bill then spent three years as an independent real estate consultant to telecommunications companies. There, he specialized in the site selection of technical facilities throughout the United States for companies including Exodus, MCIWorldcom, Nextlink, USWest, Winstar, GST Pacific Lightwave, COVAD, Teligent, and TCG, among others. He founded IX2 Networks in 1998. He is a graduate of UCLA.

Mark Messana, Vice President

Mr. Messana has a commercial real estate background specializing in telecom real estate. Mark was responsible for marketing, leasing, managing and infrastructure upgrades for the One Wilshire Building during the ‘1990’s. Mark was instrumental in formulating the initial business plan and overseeing the deployment of the One Wilshire “meet-me-room”, now an industry standard in telecom hotels. The original “meet-me-room” concept was to allow for greater connectivity among carriers and tenants in the same telecom building with no cross connect fees.

In June of 2000 Morgan Stanley Real Estate chose Mr. Messana to co-found Global Gateway along with Goodwin Gaw of Pioneer Global Group. Mr. Messana served as Executive Vice President of the U.S. operations and was responsible for all aspects of acquiring, redeveloping and marketing buildings for telecom users.

Mr. Messana joined IX2 Networks in January of 2003 as Vice President and General Manager.
